This morning I was feeling the need to give my body a health boost. (Too much naughty Easter chocolate lying around to tempt!) A green smoothie or juice seems to do that, even if just psychologically.
Todays smoothie was banana, baby spinach, apple juice, milled linseed and chia seeds. It had quite a bland banana taste, and was very thick once the seeds had soaked up some liquid. I added some water to bring it back to drinking consistency, and some basil for a bit more flavour. Much better 🙂
