The temperature has dropped over the past few days, so a warm drink was needed while curling up on the sofa. My usual comfort drink would be hot chocolate (with sugar, milk and cream if it’s available!).
This is my healthier alternative; mixed spice cocoa. Still a little chocolatey, but the spice gives it a rich flavour, that reminds me of christmas 🙂
Ingredients;
1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
1 teaspoon raw cacao powder
Hot water
If you need to sweeten it a little, add a teaspoon of raw coconut sugar or maple syrup.
