Salt dough is great for children and adults alike. Simple to make, easy to use and you can get some great results.
This salt dough had plenty of mixed spice added for a real Christmassy feel. My youngest child had fun just playing with the salt dough, while the older ones enjoyed cutting out shapes. I also had fun making some new decorations for the tree!
Salt Dough Recipe :
– 2 cups flour
– 1 cup water
– 1 cup salt
– mixed spice
– cinnamon sticks, star anise and cloves to decorate
Just mix all the ingredients together to form a dough. Roll out and cut into shapes or just play with it! Decorate with the spices and place in a cool oven for a few hours until hard.
