Red Refresh Smoothie 

I have been trying to stick to mainly vegetables in juices and smoothies, with an 80/20 ratio of veg to fruit. Some days though, you just need a little extra sweetness to get you going in the morning.

I started some power plate sessions in November, and today was my first session of the new year, so I needed something that would give me enough energy to get through the class!

  • 1 banana
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 apples, juiced
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 medjool date
  • 1 cup water

Toppings:

  • chia seeds
  • flaked almonds
  • puffed quinoa

Simply juice the apples, and then blend everything together until smooth! Add more water if necessary.

Pour into a bowl and add some seeds,  nuts and fruit of your choosing!
